Bleed is a printing term that refers to printing that goes beyond the edge of the sheet after trimming. For more Bleed info, Go To Artwork Setup

In printing terms, a proof is a sample copy of your project after all modifications and printing setup processes have been completed. It is your last and best opportunity to make sure that the print job comes out the way you want. By carefully inspecting the proof, you can help us assure an accurate, flawless delivery of your print job on the first run.

Please note, that approving the proof is also you agreeing to the terms and conditions of the final product. Any mistakes or changes that you do not point out in the proof, will not be Shamrock Printing’s responsibility.

Many steps are involved in printing our products. From plating, printing, coating, cutting / folding / numbering to packaging. At Shamrock we offer different types of turnaround depending on the product:
• Economy: slow/low price
• Standard: best value and time
• Rush: faster/higher price

The production time begins after the proof is OK. Please allow time for proofing and shipping/delivery as these are not included in our production time.

A template is a file that will help demonstrate the layout of an item. It will include any bleeds, the proper margins, and lines for folding. To see our templates, go to Printing Templates

All of our full color products are printed with the four process ink colors: (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black).

In short, printers and monitors produce colors in different ways. Monitors use the RGB (red, green, blue) color model, which usually supports a wider spectrum of colors. Printers use the CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color model, which can reproduce most—but not all—of the colors in the RGB color model. Depending on the equipment used, CMYK generally matches 85–90% of the colors in the RGB model. When a color is selected from the RGB model that is out of the range of the CMYK model, the application chooses what it thinks is the closest color that will match. Programs like Adobe Photoshop will allow you to choose which color will be replaced. Others may not.
